Our Roadside Assistance products have been designed to provide support if your BMW breaks down or you need motoring assistance on the go. This means that, when you take out our BMW breakdown cover, you have protection in place if your car becomes immobilised, or if you require emergency assistance. There are different products and options available so you can get the cover that suits you best.
When you purchase an Insured Warranty it automatically comes with Warranty Assistance. This means we will cover the costs of taking your car to the nearest BMW Retailer if you breakdown more than half a mile from your home address and the problem cannot be resolved at the roadside.
If you want basic Roadside Assistance cover then choose BMW Roadside Assistance Essential. This will provide you with home and roadside assistance and a contribution towards storage costs if that’s necessary. There are no further benefits included with the Essential cover.
Our highest level of cover - BMW Roadside Assistance – gives you cover when you’re out on the road, with benefits including a hire car, onward travel options and vehicle redelivery. Also if you take out this level of cover with an Insured Warranty, the cost of the Roadside Assistance will be reduced.
If you purchase our BMW Roadside Assistance product, you will receive roadside assistance in the UK, the Republic of Ireland and abroad. So, in the event that you require emergency assistance either at home or in Continental Europe, you will have access to a Roadside Assistance Centre which is manned 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. With a range of comprehensive benefits such as a hire car and vehicle redelivery you can rest assured that BMW Roadside Assistance will take care of you and your BMW.
BMW Roadside Assistance cover has been designed to provide motoring assistance for breakdowns at home or on the road, and comes with a comprehensive range of benefits, including:
An unlimited number of breakdown assistances on the road, at home or elsewhere
Coverage anywhere in the UK and Republic of Ireland
Coverage when travelling in most countries in Continental Europe
Onward travel, or return to your home or overnight accommodation for you and your passengers if your vehicle cannot be repaired within four hours
Car hire (if possible) for up to two days when your vehicle cannot be repaired within four hours
Vehicle redelivery to your home address if your vehicle was not recovered to your local BMW Retailer
Please also note that BMW Roadside Assistance can be purchased on its own or in conjunction with any of our BMW Insured Warranty products. The costs will be reduced if bought with a BMW Insured Warranty.

If you take out a BMW Roadside Assistance Essential policy, you’ll receive a more basic level of cover, but you’ll still get roadside assistance and recovery if you’re at home or on the road in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland.
With a BMW Roadside Assistance Essential policy, you’ll benefit from the following:
An unlimited number of assistances on the road or at home
Recovery to the nearest BMW Retailer
Coverage anywhere in the UK and Republic of Ireland
If you take out a BMW Roadside Assistance Essential policy, your vehicle must be under 10 years of age at the start of the policy, and it must not have completed more than 100,000 miles.
Please note: BMW Insured Warranty automatically includes Warranty Assistance and offers a similar level of cover.
